Children, adults, and seniors benefit from her thorough medical history taking, orthopaedic assessment, skilled hands-on treatment and positive, caring attitude. Her interest in functional rehabilitation led her to complete a Diploma of Pilates and she uses it as one tool to increase body awareness. Angie works with you to determine whether mindfulness, a preferred exercise therapy or other self management approaches might be helpful.
Angie has a particular clinical interest in peripheral nerve entrapment/compression syndromes. She utilises many therapeutic approaches but finds dermoneuromodulating of particular benefit. She is qualified to teach this approach and has shared this approach with RMIT students in previous years.
Angie has been a clinical educator and sessional tutor at RMIT and VU over eight years and works as a tutor for private manual therapy courses.
She maintains her clinical relevance by attending relevant professional seminars every year.
